Releasing in celebration of Nike's 2023 Air Max Day, the Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG "Big Bubble – Red" revives the debut colorway of the iconic sneaker silhouette with a large, visible air bladder. , who was on the first starting pairs in 1986. Just like the original, this retro version features a breathable white mesh upper, gray synthetic suede overlays, and contrasting hits of red on the mudguard and Swoosh branding. Additional Crimson accents are found on the molded eyelets and Nike Air branding on the tongue and heel. Restored to original size, the Air midsole unit sits in the heel of the white PU outsole for a cushioned landing.
